Warhammer 40k and Fantasy Escalation League Rules

1) Each player registers for the league and notes which army they intend to have as their primary army. Each player can swap to a different army once per league, but once they have switched they cannot switch back to their primary army. Also, each player receives a 10% discount on all models and supplies needed for their primary army, but this discount does not switch whenever you swap to a new army.

2) Gameplay – At each league night there will be a scenario and points level laid out ahead of time for players to take part in. Each player is awarded points based on their performance in their game, 3 points for winning and 1 point for losing. In the event of a draw or an odd number of players showing up, you may be issued a bye which results in 2 points for the night (You can still get credit for your painting point). Since this is a running league the point for the loss is there so that attendance is rewarded (this goes along with the prizes for each league night).

3) Painting – Each player will receive a bonus point if their army is completely painted for the league night. We generally use the 3 color rule for judging this.

Prize Structure

The player with the most points at the end of each league will be awarded $75 gift certificate to be used on GW product. The player with the Best Painted Army will receive $50 gift certificate to be used on GW product. There will also be a random drawing at each league night for a $10 gift certificate to be used on GW product. Also, at the end of the league there will be a drawing among every player with perfect attendance for a $50 gift certificate to be used on GW product. Pretty good for there not being an entry fee right?!
